Chicago State Athletics Honors Graduating Student-Athletes at Annual Stole Ceremony

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicago State University Department of Athletics honored its graduating student-athletes during the annual Student-Athlete Stole Ceremony held Wednesday inside the Gwendolyn Brooks Library ahead of the University's commencement exercises.

The annual ceremony celebrates the academic accomplishments, leadership, and dedication of Chicago State student-athletes as they prepare to earn their degrees and move on to the next chapter of their personal and professional journeys.

Chicago State Athletics recognized the following graduating seniors:

"Our graduating student-athletes have represented Chicago State with pride, resilience, and determination both in competition and in the classroom," said the Chicago State Athletics Department. "This ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate their commitment to academic excellence and honor the impact they have made on our university community."

The stole ceremony serves as a special tradition recognizing the balance and dedication required of collegiate student-athletes while highlighting the continued academic growth and success within Chicago State Athletics.

Chicago State University's commencement ceremony for the Class of 2026 will take place Thursday, May 14, at 10:45 a.m. inside the Jones Convocation Center.
