Karolina Skowronska and
Camila Sanchez won their singles matches to score for the Cougars on the afternoon.
Skowronska defeated Western Illinois's Richardlyne Francois in a tightly contested contest by a score of 7-6, 6-2. While Chicago State's
Camila Sanchez also won her first match by a score of 6-5, 3-7, 10-7 in the tiebreaker to determine the match.
