Lena Cleveland was named as an NEC Prime Performer after her weekend at the Bill Clinger Classic at Grand Valley State University on January 23.
Lena Cleveland (Southfield, Michigan)Â put together the best weekend so far this indoor season. Cleveland won the triple jump and finished second in the long jump at the Bill Clinger Classic at Grand Valley State University. In the triple jump she jumped 11.54 meters for her farthest distance of the season thus far. In the long jump Cleveland leaped 5.51 meters to claim second place. The long jump outdoor champion from 2025 is looking to continue the momentum as the NEC Indoor Championships loom closer.
Cleveland and the rest of the women's track and field team will return to action for the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational on January 30-31 from Louisville, Kentucky.Â
