Box Score DAYTON, Ohio - The Chicago State women's Soccer team began their first of four straight road games Sunday afternoon as they traveled to take on the Wright State Raiders. The Cougars were able to hold the Raiders to a scoreless first half and played tremendous defense. The Raiders were able to break through in the second half to hand the Cougars their third loss of the season.
The Cougars as a team were able to put six shots on goal and were led by freshman
Ameerah Kolleff with two shots to lead the way for Chicago State.

Maya Dixon,
Gabby Flores, and
Marley Hunter were the other Cougars to log shots on the day. The Cougars were able to create scoring chances as they were able earn six corner kicks on the afternoon.
Aviana Gutierrez continues to build on her freshman season season facing 15 shots and made eight more saves on the afternoon playing another complete game for Chicago State. Â
Looking ahead: With the loss on Sunday, the Cougars fall to 2-3-2 on the 2025 season. Chicago State will look to continue to improve as the conference schedule looms closer. The Cougars will be on the road once again this Thursday Septmeber 11 as they Cougars will travel south to Carbondale to battle the Southern Illinois Salukis with the kickoff start time set for 6:00 PM.Â
