BRIDGEWATER, N.J - Chicago State junior sprinter Sanaa Parker, fresh off a solid weekend at the Raleigh Relays, was named the NEC Women's Track Athlete of the Week the conference announced on Tuesday.
Parker, who ran the 200m and 400m, posted two personal bests during opening weekend. In the 200m Parker ran a 24.27 for a 25th place finish and in the 400m she ran an 55.82 good for a 32nd place finish. These two times are leading the NEC outdoor performance list.
The Cougars are next in action April 4-5 at the Tennessee Invitational.
