Weston, Fla - The Chicago State women's golf team closed out action at the HBCU National Championship in seventh place with a three-round score of 837 (333-330-174–837). The final round was played as a nine hole round.
Begona Perez finished tied for 16th with a three-round score of 202 for 22-over par (79-78-45 —202) to lead Chicago State. Gia Lamba record a top-30 finish with a three-score round of 206 for 26-over par (81-81-44—206).
The Cougars will be back in action on March 10 to defense their Starks Invitational title in Nashville, Tennessee.
