Chicago – In their final home game of the season, Chicago State fell to Wagner College, 75-63, on Saturday afternoon. The Cougars battled throughout, repeatedly cutting into double-digit deficits but struggled to recover from a sluggish first half, where they shot just 26% from the field and 18% from three-point range.
Chicago State found their rhythm in the second half, improving to 50% shooting and finishing the game at 40% overall and 36% from beyond the arc.

Noble Crawford led the Cougars with 15 points each, while Senior
Dailliss Cox contributed 11 points. CSU faced an uphill climb after a tough first half, trailing 33-12 at the break as Wagner extended their lead to 22. Despite a stronger second-half performance, the Cougars were unable to fully close the gap against the Seahawks' efficient offense.
Chicago State will be back on the road Thursday, February 27, for a 6 p.m. CST matchup against Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA. The game will take place at Owen McCormick Court inside the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.
