SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Chicago State men's soccer closed out its 2025 campaign on Sunday afternoon with a competitive road effort, falling 3–0 to Le Moyne College at Ted Grant Field.
The Cougars controlled possession for much of the match — holding a 59 percent advantage — and created several strong scoring opportunities throughout both halves.
Thomas Herzog and
Jorge Leon each registered shots on goal, while
Mason Radulski and
Jayden Quezada contributed to a balanced attack that kept the Dolphins' defense under steady pressure.
In goal,
Johan Rodriguez Morales turned away three shots while anchoring the back line for the full 90 minutes. Defenders
Brayan Cuevas-Tapia and Alexander Mutalibov each logged a complete match as well, helping limit a potent Le Moyne offense to just six shots on target despite nine corner kicks.
Chicago State concludes the 2025 season with valuable experience and a foundation for the future, as several young players gained meaningful minutes and development throughout the year.
