Box Score The Chicago State men's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw Sunday afternoon at Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep in Chicago in the Cougars Northeast Conference opener.
The Cougars had an advantage in both shots (15-5) and shots on goal (7-2) but both defenses and keepers allowed no goals as LIU's Eoin Gawronski had five seven saves and
Lucas Fontana had two for the Cougars.
Hilary Odhiambo was credited with four shots for the Cougars and
Dasha Curiel,
Bill Okumu,
Aidan Lopez and
Bruno Baez each had two. Both Odhiambo and Baez led CSU with two shots on goal.
Chicago State will return to action Thursday, October 3, hosting Le Moyne at 7 p.m. at Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep in Chicago.
