Luka Assaf scored in the 49th minute in the Cougars 6-1 loss to Notre Dame Friday night at Alumni Stadium in South Bend, Indiana. Despite the score, the Cougars got off nine shots with two each from
Dasha Curiel,
Danail Sergiev and
Aldo Jimenez and both of Sergiev's shot were on goal.
Tonight's match was the Cougars final non-conference game as CSU will host Long Island University in their first Northeast Conference matchup on Sunday, September 29 at Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep at 1 p.m.
