Box Score SIUE scored three goals in both halves and the Cougars
Hannah Bennett scored her first goal of the season as CSU lost to SIUE 6-1 Thursday afternoon at Korte Stadium in Edwardsville, Illinois.
Despite the outcome the Cougars managed six shots on goal led by Bennett with two. Bennett found the back of the net, her first goal of the season, in the 63rd minute on an assist by
Saige Thor.
The Cougars will be back in action Thursday, September 5, traveling to Detroit, Michigan to face Detroit Mercy at 2 p.m. at Titan Field.
