The Chicago State men's and women's track and field teams competed at the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative Meet Thursday at the Rex Foster Track Complex in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
Mychah Spells provided the highlight of the meet with a first-place finish in the 110m Hurdles where he established a new school record with a time of 14.38, besting the mark of 14.52 set by Kelvin White in 2011. Other highlights included PRs by
Boris Mojsa in the 800m and Ayisat Shen in the long jump.

The Chicago State women's relay team of
Myshell Hurse,
Sanaa Parker,
Rikki Gray and
Shamauri Brackett will compete in the qualifying rounds of the 4x100 and 4x400 relays and the finals of the 4x200 relay at the Penn Relays on Friday, April 26 at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The 4x100 is scheduled for 12:10p CT, the 4x200 at 1:55p CT and the 4x400 at 6:10p CT. This group set the school record in the 4x400 on April 6 at the Tennessee Invitational and
Sanaa Parker is the current school record holder in the 200m and
Rikki Gray is the school record holder in the 300m.
