The Cougars now sit atop the conference standings, tied with Cleveland State and Youngstown State with identical 3-1 records.

The Cougars earned the doubles point with, for the second consecutive match, two of three matches going into tie breakers. With CSU holding a 1-0 advantage, the Panthers picked up the win at No. 1 doubles leaving the deciding match, again for the second match in row, at No. 3 where Katarina Dukic and Amina Taibi pulled out an identical 7-6 (6) win for the team point.

"I don't worry about many matches but for this one we really had to be prepared," head coach Jack Barton said. "Milwaukee has always been difficult to play. Usually emotions run high when it's senior day and we had alot on the line. We went through a lot of visualization drills to see the ourself in the best possible position when giving our best. They executed amazingly today. We will enjoy the win and celebrate our seniors today."

The Cougars will wrap up the regular season on the road next weekend with matches at IUPUI Saturday, April 20 and at Northern Kentucky Sunday, April 21. Following the regular season, the top six teams advance to the Horizon League Women's Tennis Championship set for April 26-28 at the Schwartz Tennis Center in West Lafayette, Indiana.
