Chicago State Women’s Tennis Beats Bradley 6-1

Box Score The Chicago State women's tennis team beat Bradley 6-1 Saturday afternoon at the H-F Racquet and Fitness Club in Homewood. Ethel Li and Sofiya Sedovich teamed up to win at No. 2 doubles before Bradley got the win at No. 1. Katarina Dukic and Amina Taibi won at No. 3 and the Cougars won the doubles point. The Cougars then won five-of-six matches in singles for the 6-1 win.

"Today was a very tough match," head coach Jack Barton said. "Bradley played really well and I'm proud our women met the challenge. We executed a lot of things we worked on in practice. We were more bold on the court, so we are doing the right things and it went our way today. It was a great team win."

The Cougars will be back in action with a pair of away matches on Sunday, February 4. CSU will first travel to Kalamazoo, Michigan to face Western Michigan at West Hills Athletic Club at noon before stopping in South Bend, Indiana on the say home to play Notre Dame at Eck Tennis Pavilion at 6 p.m.
