Chicago State Announces Change in Head Women’s Basketball Leadership

Chicago State University is ending its contract with women's basketball head coach Andrea Williams, effective immediately. Williams was hired July 1, 2022 and posted a 7-48 record during her time with the Cougars. 

The university will conduct a national search to identify the next leader of the women's basketball program. 
 
"I want to thank Coach Williams for her service to Chicago State and to our student-athletes over the past two seasons," said Dr. Monique Carroll, Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. "We wish Coach Williams all of the best in her future endeavors."
