The Chicago State women's basketball team lost to Eastern Kentucky 85-63 Tuesday night at the JCC in the season finale for the Cougars.
Tae'Lor Willard scored 15 points,
Claire Simmons 13,
Taylor Norris 12 and
Josie Hill 10 for the Cougars in the loss.
First Quarter - EKU 20, Chicago State 16

Second Quarter - EKU 49, Chicago State 32
? Chicago State opened the scoring after a deuce from Norris to trail 20-18
? The Colonels enacted a 15-6 run which increased their lead to 35-24
? This scoring run garnered momentum for the Colonels as they were able to head into the half with a 17-point lead at 49-32
Third Quarter - EKU 68, Chicago State 51
? The Cougars opened the scoring after a tough layup from Willard to reach a 49-34 score
? Eastern Kentucky retaliated with a 6-0 run which further cemented their lead at 55-34
? Both teams then ensued into back-and-forth scoring however the Colonels maintained their lead heading to the fourth at 68-51
Fourth Quarter - EKU 85, Chicago State 63
? The Colonels continued their run as they held the Cougars to only 12 points in the quarter as they sealed the victory with an 85-63 score
