Cougars Women’s Basketball Conclude Non-Conference Play at North Texas

Box Score The Chicago State women's basketball team completed play at the Evan Moore Classic - North Texas MTE with an 83-57 loss to the host Mean Green at The Super Pit in Denton, Texas Saturday. The Cougars were whistled for 24 fouls in the contest compared to just eight for North Texas which led to a 28-6 Mean Green advantage from the free throw line.

Josie Hill and Asha Walker led the Cougars with 12 points apiece while Hill, who ranked among the nation's leaders in blocked shots a season ago, tied a season-high with four blocks Saturday.

The Cougars break for Christmas and will return to action in January, beginning Northeast Conference play at home against Wagner January 2 at 6 p.m. at the JCC followed by a 1 p.m. tip against LIU on Saturday, January 4.
