Chicago State Men’s Basketball Drops Decision to Radford at Sunshine Slam

Box Score The Chicago State men's basketball team lost to Radford 63-48 at the Sunshine Slam at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida Monday morning. The Cougars only trailed by two at the halftime break but Radford opened the second half with a 14-5 run and extended the lead to 11. The Cougars pulled to within five with 9:17 remaining in regulation before a 9-0 run left CSU fighting back from a double-digit deficit the rest of the way.

Jalen Forest was the only Chicago State player in double figures with 12 while Troy McKoy had seven and Saxby Sunderland, Matthew Robinson and Gabe Spinelli each had six.

Next up for the Cougars will be the third place game of the Ocean Bracket of the Sunshine Slam against Drexel on Monday, November 26 at 9:30 a.m. at the Ocean Center.
