Cougars Men’s Basketball Struggle From the Field in Loss at San Francisco

Box Score The Chicago State men's basketball team struggled from the field, shooting just 23 percent in an 82-37 loss at San Francisco Saturday night in California. 

USF jumped out to a 7-0 lead and extended that margin to 44-12 at the half. The Cougars opened the second half with a 7-2 run but the Dons extended the margin throughout the next 20 minutes. Jalen Forrest led Chicago State with eight points followed by CJ Delaney and Matt Robinson with six each.

Next up, the Cougars will be back at home Tuesday, November 19, hosting Eastern Kentucky at 6 p.m. at the Jones Convocation Center.
