Box Score The Chicago State women's soccer team overcame a two-goal deficit to tie and eventually take the lead before Mercyhurst earned the equalizer in the 88th minute to come away with a 3-3 tie Thursday afternoon at Saxon Stadium in Erie, Pennsylvania.

After a scoreless first half where Cougars goal keeper Jay Arballo faced an onslaught of shots and made six saves to keep CSU in the contest, the Lakers scored two goals to start the second half, finding the back of the net at the 47:00-minute mark and in the 48th minute for a 2-0 lead. Less than two minutes later Jackie Tamayo got the Cougars on the board with an unassisted goal then Hannah Bennett scored the equalizer in the 66th minute on a penalty kick and the score was knotted at 2-2.
