CSU Drops 2-0 Decision to Stonehill in Women's Soccer

Box Score Stonehill scored one goal in each half and kept Chicago State off the scoreboard as the Skyhawks got past the Cougars 2-0 Sunday afternoon in women's soccer at Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep in Chicago.

The Cougars and Seahawks each registered five shots but CSU didn't manage any on goal while Stonehill's two shots on goal both found the back of the net. Barbara Castellanos led the Cougars with three shots while Maya Dixon and Tianna Klysh each had one.

With the loss, the Cougars drop to 0-13-1 overall and 0-7-1 in the Northeast Conference while Stonehill improves to 7-9 overall and 6-2 in league play. 

The Cougars will be back in action Thursday, October 24, traveling to Erie, Pennsylvania to take on Mercyhurst at Saxon Stadium at 2 p.m.
