Jahsean Corbett Records Double-Double in 65-60 Loss at Duquesne

Box Score In a back-and-forth affair, Duquesne outscored Chicago State 8-3 down the stretch to pull out a 65-60 victory Wednesday night at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in Pittsburgh. The game featured 12 ties and 11 lead changes and neither team led by more than seven points throughout the game. Tied at 57-57 with 2:49 remaining in regulation, Duquesne scored on back-to-back possessions and the rest of the scoring would come from the free throw line as Chicago State had a four-game win streak snapped.

Jahsean Corbett led three CSU players in double figures and recorded a double-double with game-highs of 21 points and 11 rebounds. Brent Davis added 11 with 3-of-5 shooting from beyond the three-point arc and Noble Crawford had 10.

The Cougars will be back on the court Saturday, February 10, traveling to Orangeburg, South Carolina to face South Carolina State at the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center at 3 p.m.
