The Chicago State men's and women's cross country teams opened their respective seasons at the Flyer Flames Challenge hosted by Lewis University at the Lewis University Cross Country Course in Romeoville. The women were led by
Brenda Jepkoech who finished the 4k race in 16:32.7 while the men were led by
Nicholas Negru who ran the 6k race in 19:48.7.
Complete team and individual results listed below.
The next action for the men's and women's cross country teams will be Friday, September 15 at the Redbird Invitational in Normal. The men will compete in an 8k race while the women will run a 6k.
