The Chicago State women's basketball team hosted the Loyola Ramblers on Thursday afternoon in the Jones Convocation Center in the season and home opener and suffered a 74-47 loss despite Tae'Lor Willard's team-high 13 points, along with
Ana Haklicka's 10.
First Quarter - Loyola 14, Chicago State 8

Evangelina Parrish which had them up 4-0
? The Ramblers retaliated with a 10-0 run and led 10-4 with seven minutes remaining in the quarter

Laura Segues to cut the lead to 13 at 39-26
? Loyola answered with a 17-2 run which ultimately cemented their victory as they led by 28 at 56-28
? The Cougars were able to finish the quarter with a free throw and a layup from Parrish to cut the Ramblers lead to 56-31
Fourth Quarter - Loyola 74, Chicago State 47
? The Ramblers opened up the scoring with a layup to increase their lead to 58-31
? Ultimately, the Cougars managed to end the quarter on a 13-3 run after scores from Carter, Haklicka and
Jacia Cunningham yet it was too late as Loyola had secured the victory with a 74-47 score
