Box Score The Chicago State women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Western Kentucky Sunday at the WKU Soccer Complex in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The Hilltoppers managed goals in both halves which was enough in what was a defensive struggle.
Cougars goalkeeper
Julie Arballo was credited with four saves while the Cougars did not register a shot on goal. Western Kentucky scored in the 11th minute in the first half and had another opportunity less than a minute later but Arballo turned away the attempt and the score was 1-0 at the half. The Hilltoppers capped the scoring in the 75th minute for the 2-0 final.
Chicago State will be back on the pitch Wednesday, October 4 taking on Long Island University at the LIU Soccer Park in Brooklyn, New York.
