The Chicago State volleyball team (9-4, 1-0 WAC) opened Western Athletic Conference play Thursday night with a dominant 3-0 sweep of Seattle U, earning the team's ninth win of the young season.
Yanlis Feliz, the conference's leader in kills, amassed 19 successful kills in the dominant outing. The Cougars now match up with the 5-5 California Baptist Lancers, who are competing in their first conference match of the season Saturday.

Chicago State University Athletics is comprised of 15 intercollegiate teams involving over 150 student-athletes that compete in basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and volleyball.
