Chi State Pod: Adey Osabuohien

New associate head tennis coach joins the podcast

Episode 37 of the Chi State Pod features Chicago State associate head men's and women's tennis coach Adey Osabuohien.


Osabuohien joins head coach Jack Barton's staff on the heels of a phenomenal tennis career that began as a top-rated youth player out of Homewood-Flossmoor High School in Flossmoor, Illinois. She played tennis collegiately at both Stony Brook in Long Island, New York and Northern Illinois University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Services. Osabuohien appeared two NCAA tournaments in college.

Osabuohien has played professional tennis since March 2018, and she was a bronze medal winner at the All-African Olympic Games in 2019. She is also a current member of the Billy Jean Cup team representing Nigeria.
