The Chicago State volleyball team (10-6, 2-2 WAC) gears up for its second homestand of the conference season, hosting New Mexico State and Grand Canyon.
Last week, the Cougars fell to Utah State, three sets to one, but dismantled Dixie State in a 3-0 sweep win.
Yanlis Feliz led the Cougars in the Saturday win and plunges into the weekemd as the WAC's leader in kills, posting 4.83 per set.
New Mexico State is the defending regular season conference champion and rides a 12-4 overall, 3-1 WAC record into the weekend. Grand Canyon, meanwhile, leads the WAC West Division with an 11-2 overall mark and is 3-1 in conference.

About Chicago State
Chicago State University Athletics is comprised of 15 intercollegiate teams involving over 150 student-athletes that compete in basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and volleyball. CSU held memberships in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and NCAA Division II before transitioning to NCAA Division I in 1994.
