SEATTLE — The Chicago State men's soccer team (2-12-3, 0-8-2 WAC) suffered a 4-1 loss against the Seattle University Redhawks Sunday.
"That's tough team," head coach Trevor Banks said. "We came out and gave our all but couldn't put anything in the back of the net. We have one more match to end this first season, which we are looking forward to."

Just before halftime, Seattle once again found the back of the net with a solo finish by Hal Uderitz, which had Chicago State trailing 3-0 heading into halftime.
In the second half, the Cougars set to prevent a shutout by Seattle and relentlessly attacked the RedHawks' backline. it wasn't until the 70th minute mark that the Cougars finally broke through and scored their first goal with a stellar solo finish by captain Gaye Diadie, his second goal of the season.
The RedHawks quickly bounced back, however, and scored their fourth and final goal of the match, courtesy of Noe Meza who was assisted by Mo Mohamed. That sealed a 4-1 Seattle win.
