Preview: Women's Soccer to Host Abilene Christian

The Chicago State women's soccer team (0-11-1, 0-5 WAC) is on the precipice of a three-match homestand that starts Saturday afternoon with Abilene Christian.

The Cougars and Wildcats dueled on October 2 in Abilene, with the Wildcats winning, 6-1. Sara Quevedo scored for Chicago State and leads the Cougars in scoring, striking in four goals. The Cougars are looking to rebound this weekend against the Wildcats after dropping back-to-back matches to Texas foes Sam Houston State and Stephen F. Austin.

About Chicago State

Chicago State University Athletics is comprised of 15 intercollegiate teams involving over 150 student-athletes that compete in basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and volleyball. CSU held memberships in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and NCAA Division II before transitioning to NCAA Division I in 1994.
