CHICAGO – After a three-point lead for the Cougars with under five minutes left in the first half, the Boilermakers dominated Chicago State men's basketball in the final 24 minutes of action, as CSU suffered a 93-49 loss, Nov. 16 in West Lafayette, Ind.
CSU
- Xavier Johnson (Dallas, Texas/Hopkins H.S.) led CSU with 12 points and five assists.
- Andrew Lewis (Milwaukee, Wis./Milwaukee Vincent H.S.) trailed Johnson with 11 points, two assists and three rebounds.
- Defensively, Rajeir Jones (Baltimore, Md./St. Francis Academy) pulled a team-best down five rebounds.
Purdue
- Isaiah Thompson's 17 points for Purdue led the Boilermakers while four others finished in double-figures.
- Aaron Wheeler collected a double-double with 10 points and rebounds, while adding two blocks.
