The Cougars (5-19, 0-10 WAC) fell in heart-breaking fashion on Saturday (Oct. 26) as CSU took sets one and two from the Roadrunners, before dropping the final three in the setback (22-25, 24-26, 25-17, 25-10, 15-3).
Josi Borum (Sterling, IL ) led the Cougars with 12 kills, trailed by
Ceyna Kahraman's (Istanbul, Turkey) 11, while
Lacee Adams (Muncie, Ind./Muncie Central) ran the offense with 19 assists.
On the defensive end,
Megan Klavitter (Fenton, MI) (Fenton, MI) collected 31 digs as Borum earned her 12th double-double of the season with 14 digs.
Beatriz Palmieri (Ribeirao Preto, Sao Paulo, Brazil/Professora Carlina Cacapava de Mello) leads the Cougars on the offensive end (2.60 kills per set) while Borum trails with 2.57kps.
The Rookie, Borum, currently ranks tied for fourth in the nation with a total of three triple-doubles on the season.

The Roos split results last week, defeating CSU Bakersfield before falling to Grand Canyon in a battle for the second place spot in the Western Athletic Conference. This drops Kansas City to third place in the conference, half of a game ahead of UTRGV.
