This Week: The Chicago State women's soccer team faces off against a couple of teams from the neighboring state of Indiana this week which begins tomorrow night in Indianapolis against host Butler with a start time of 6 p.m. to conclude a nine-game road swing. The Cougars then return to Kroc Stadium on Sunday afternoon versus Indiana State beginning at 1 p.m.

Scouting the Cougars: CSU has amassed a 1-9 season record going into this week after it dropped two road contests last weekend to Loyola (0-9) and Western Illinois (1-9). Sophomore midfielder Mariela Alba (Hanover Park, Ill./Bartlett) and freshman forward Jensyn Stanberry (Grand Haven, Mich./Fruitport) are tied for the team lead with three points on a goal and an assist, apiece. Junior goalkeeper Audra Wisehart (Sandusky, Ohio/Huron) paces the Green and White with 44 saves on the year.

Scouting the Bulldogs: Ranked 20th in the Soccer America national poll and receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll, Butler enters the week sporting a 6-1-1 record and is currently on a six-game winning streak after posting a 1-0 shutout win over Indiana State last Sunday. Senior forward Caitlyn DiSarcina has produced two goals and an assist for five points to leads the Bulldogs. Amanda Kowalski leads the team with two assists, while Hannah Leudtke has recorded a .950 save percentage and a goals against average of 0.22.

Butler History: Thursday's contest will be the first-ever meeting on the soccer field between CSU and Butler.

Scouting the Sycamores: Indiana State will play its first game in a week when it heads to Kroc on Sunday and holds a 4-4-1 season record after last Sunday's loss at Butler. The Sycamores are led by junior forward Stacie Wells, who has recorded team highs of four goals and eight points on the season. Junior midfielder Caitlyn Eddy leads ISU in assists with four and sophomore goalkeeper Hannah Sullivan has posted 33 saves and a 2.05 goals-against average this season.

Indiana State History: Indiana State has posted a 3-0 lifetime mark in the series with Chicago State which included claiming a 7-0 victory in Terre Haute, Ind., on Sept. 11, 2016.

WAC Leader: Wisehart leads the Western Athletic Conference in saves and saves per game (7.33) while also ranking 11th among the NCAA Division I leaders in saves per game.

Up Next: The Cougars finish off non-conference play on Thursday, Sept. 28 at Valparaiso with a start time of 7:30 p.m.
