Women’s Soccer Continues Road Swing with First Meeting at Campbell

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Chicago State women's soccer continued its nine-game road swing here today against host Campbell in the first-ever meeting between the two schools at Eakes Athletic Complex, but the Camels came away with a 9-0 victory over the Cougars.

Campbell jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first half by scoring goals in the 13th, 17th, 24th, 36th, 41st and 44th minutes before adding goals in the 62nd, 76th and 82nd minutes of the second half to close the scoring.

Junior goalkeeper Audra Wisehart (Sandusky, Ohio/Huron) tallied a game-high four saves for the Green and White (1-3), while freshman Bailey McFarland (Lakeside, Calif./El Capitan) stopped three shots in her first collegiate action in-goal.

Chicago State continues its road swing on Friday, Sept. 1 with an inter-city battle at UIC with a start time of 6 p.m.
