Box Score SEATTLE – Senior Paige Eyring recorded a career-high 16 kills to lead the Chicago State volleyball team tonight as it dropped a 3-1 decision to host Seattle tonight in a Western Athletic Conference match at the Connolly Complex.

SU took a close 25-22 win in the opening set, but the Green and White evened the match at 1-1 going into intermission after producing a 25-19 victory in the second stanza. The Redhawks closed the match with a 25-19 third-set win followed by a 30-28 victory in the fourth set.

Eyring also recorded a match high-tying six blocks for CSU, while freshman Lacee Adams dished out 49 assists and sophomore Megan Klavitter contributed 28 digs.

Junior Lauryn Dela Cruz notched a double-double with 14 digs and 12 kills, and fellow classmate Carmen Carvajal tallied a double-double of her own with 12 kills and 11 digs. Freshman Summer Farris finished the match with a season-high nine blocks and eight kills.

Seattle received a pair of match-high efforts from Katarina Marinkovic (20 kills), Shae Harris (52 assists) and Tijana Milojevic (31 digs).

The Cougars conclude the regular season on Saturday afternoon in Orem, Utah with their final WAC match at Utah Valley beginning at 1 p.m.
