Box Score CHICAGO – Chicago State volleyball saw its 2017 home schedule conclude this evening at the Jacoby Dickens Center with Senior Day as it dropped a 3-0 decision to Western Athletic Conference foe UMKC.

After capturing a close 25-23 win in the first set, the visiting Kangaroos finished out the match with a 25-16 victory in set number two and a 25-19 win in the final set.
Freshman Lacee Adams and sophomore Megan Klavitter recorded match high numbers to lead the Green and White with 26 assists and 16 digs, respectively. Junior Carmen Carvajal added 10 kills and freshman Summer Farris finished with eight kills.

Alicia Harrington finished the match with 13 kills and two service aces to lead UMKC.

Prior to the match, CSU honored seniors Shontanae Addison, Paige Eyring, Brianna Stewart and Juliana Torres in a senior day ceremony for their contributions to the team.

The Cougars travel northwest for their final WAC weekend road trip next week beginning Thursday, Nov. 9 at Seattle with the first serve set for 9 p.m.
