Box Score CHICAGO - The Chicago State University women's soccer team honored its four senior student-athletes on Senior Day as it concluded its 2017 schedule at Ray and Joan Kroc Stadium today with an 8-0 defeat to Western Athletic Conference champion UMKC.

Gabby Klemp (Muskegon, Mich./Reeths-Puffer),
Sara Marcotte (Republic, Mo./Republic),
Jordyn Stanberry (Grand Haven, Mich./Fruitport) and
Katie Verheyen (Pleasant Prairie, Wis./Tremper) for their contributions to the program over the past four seasons as members of the first incoming class in school history.
The visitors took a 6-0 halftime lead after tallying goals in the eighth, 12th, 14th, 17th, 21st and 40th minutes of the first half before adding scores in the 49th and 59th minutes of the second stanza to close out the game.
Sophomore
Mariela Alba (Hanover Park, Ill./Bartlett) recorded a team-high four shot attempts, while Marcotte paced the Cougars with three shots on goal in her final collegiate game. Junior
Audra Wisehart (Sandusky, Ohio/Huron), the WAC leader in saves and saves per game, came into goal in the second half and finished with a game-leading eight saves for CSU.
The Green and White finished the season with a record of 1-19 and will return several key contributors for the 2018 season.
