Box Score CHICAGO - The Chicago State volleyball team continued its four-match homestand at the Jacoby Dickens Center on Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 (22-25, 26-28, 10-25) defeat to Western Athletic Conference leader New Mexico State.
Senior
Paige Eyring (Mesa, Ariz./Mesa) paced the Green and White as she tied a career high with 15 kills and recorded a .414 hitting clip (15-3-29). Eyring also tallied 15 kills in CSU's season opener against Manhattan on Aug. 25 in Macomb, Ill.Â
Freshman
Lacee Adams (Muncie, Ind./Muncie Central) posted a double-double by recording a match-leading 32 assists with 11 digs followed by junior
Lauryn Dela Cruz (Provo, Utah/Timpview) with 11 kills and sophomore
Megan Klavitter (Fenton, Mich./Linden) with 11 digs.
The Aggies were led by Tatyana Battle as she produced a match-best 16 kills and Ariadnne Sierra took match-high dig honors with 14.
CSU returns to action on Wednesday, Nov. 1 with their final non-conference home contest against rival Valparaiso with a start time of 6 p.m.
