Adams Record Second Straight Double-Double for Cougars Volleyball at CSUB

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Freshman Lacee Adams (Muncie, Ind./Muncie Central) tallied her second straight double-double here today as the Chicago State volleyball team concluded its weekend Western Athletic Conference road swing with a 3-0 (15-25, 21-25, 13-25) defeat to CSU Bakersfield at CSUB's Icardo Center.

Adams finished the match with a match-leading 27 assists and contributed a team-best 11 digs to mark her eighth double-double on the season. Senior Paige Eyring (Mesa, Ariz./Mesa) and freshman Summer Farris (Farmington Hills, Mich./North Farmington) each recorded seven kills and sophomore Alexandria Cliff (Manitowoc, Wis./Roncalli) tallied a match-high four blocks.

The Roadrunners were led by Fabiana Andrade (20 assists) and Emily Lopes (14 digs).

The Green and White return to the Jacoby Dickens Center next week to begin their final homestand of the season which begins on Thursday, Oct. 26 against the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley starting at 7 p.m.
