Women’s Soccer Drops 7-0 Decision at Indiana State

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Chicago State women's soccer dropped a 7-0 decision to host Indiana State here earlier today at ISU's Memorial Stadium in the second game of its current five-game road swing.
 
The Sycamores (4-4) took a 2-0 lead in the first half after scoring goals in the 26th and 34th minutes before intermission.
 
ISU then added five goals in the second half between the 61st and 85th minutes to close out the scoring.
 
Freshmen Miranda Coen (Howell, Mich./Howell) and Taylor Rankin (Dearborn, Mich./Ford) each recorded two shots to lead the Green and White, while junior Gabby Klemp (Muskegon, Mich./Reeths-Puffer) recorded a game-high four saves in goal during the first half.
 
The Cougars continue their road swing on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Milwaukee in a live ESPN 3 broadcast with a start time of 7 p.m.
