This Week: Chicago State women's soccer heads to Indiana to continue its five-game road swing on Sunday afternoon in Terre Haute against host Indiana State at ISU's Memorial Stadium with a start time of 2 p.m., Eastern Time in a live online broadcast on ESPN3.

Scouting the Cougars: CSU currently holds a 1-4 season record heading into Sunday's contest with Indiana State after dropping a pair of contests last week with a 2-1 overtime loss to Eastern Illinois at home and a 5-0 defeat at Oakland. The Green and White are led in scoring by freshman midfielder Mariela Alba (Hanover Park, Ill./Bartlett), who has recorded six points on three goals, while sophomore midfielder Alejandra Alonso (Hoffman Estates, Ill./Hoffman Estates) and freshman forward Madison Berg (Coatesville, ind./Cascade) have each produced a team-leading two assists. Junior Gabby Klemp (Muskegon, Mich./Reeths-Puffer) leads the Cougars with a 2.00 goal against average and a .750 save percentage.

Scouting the Sycamores: Indiana State brings a 3-4 record and takes a break from a three-game road swing of its own after losing 2-0 at Butler on Thursday. Senior midfielder Maggie Orf and sophomore forward Katie Wells are tied for the team lead in scoring (five), goals (two) and assists (one). Senior Brittany San Roman has recorded a .766 save percentage with a 1.75 goal against average, 36 saves and three shutouts in goal for the Sycamores.

ISU History: Sunday's contest will be the third lifetime meeting between the two teams with ISU leading 2-0. The Sycamores captured last season's meeting in Chicago by a score of 6-0 on Sept. 18, 2015.

WAC Leaders: Alonso and Berg are currently sitting in a five-way tie for the lead in the Western Athletic Conference in assists (two), and are also tied for first in the WAC in assists per game (0.40 apg).

Up Next: The Cougars continue their road swing next week with stops at a pair of Horizon League foes. CSU opens the week on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Milwaukee in another ESPN3 live broadcast beginning at 5 p.m. before traveling to UIC on Sunday, Sept. 18 with the opening kickoff set for 4 p.m.
