LAWRENCE, Kan. –
The Chicago State women's track and field team closed out its 2015-16 season Saturday at the Western Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships on a good note thanks to the4x100-meter relay team breaking its own school record.
 
The quartet of sophomore Zensha Tennyson (Lithonia, Ga./Shiloh), senior Jessica McCaskill (Belleville, Ill./Belleville East), junior Zhate Jackson (Plano, Ill./Plano) and redshirt senior Alisha Wren (Chicago, Ill./Percy L. Julian) placed fourth in the event and captured second team all-conference accolades after recording a time of 46.66 while shattering the previous time of 46.82 set twice already this season.
 
Jackson competed in the finals of the 200 and 400-meter dashes later in the day finishing seventh in the 200 (24.98) and ninth in the 400 (59.09).
