Women’s Soccer Ends Season with 8-0 Loss at UMKC

KANSAS CITY – Chicago State women's soccer team closed out its 2016 season here today at Durwood Soccer Stadium with an 8-0 loss to host UMKC in the Western Athletic Conference finale for both teams.

The home team garnered a 4-0 advantage in the first half after recording tallies in the fourth, seventh, 14th and 43rd minutes.

The 'Roos (6-9-4, 3-2-2) would then add four additional goals in the 62nd, 81st, 89th and 90th minutes to provide the final margin.

Sophomore Audra Wisehart (Sandusky, Ohio/Huron) recorded a game-high nine saves, while junior Gabby Klemp (Muskegon, Mich./Reeths-Puffer) posted four saves for CSU.

The Cougars finished with a season record of 1-16 overall and 0-7 against WAC opponents.
