Women’s Soccer Falls at Home to CSU Bakersfield in WAC Contest

Audra Wisehart tallied a game-high six saves for CSU today against CSU Bakersfield

CHICAGO – The Chicago State women's soccer team continued its final homestand of the season here today at Kroc Stadium as it fell to visiting CSU Bakersfield in a Western Athletic Conference contest by a score of 6-0.

The Roadrunners tallied three goals in the first half in the ninth, 33rd and 43rd minutes for a 3-0 lead at intermission then added three additional tallies in the 55th, 66th and 68th minutes in the second half for the final score.

CSU was paced by freshman Taylor Rankin (Dearborn, Mich./Ford) as she posted two shot attempts on goal, while sophomore Audra Wisehart (Sandusky, Ohio/Huron) recorded a game-high six saves on the day.

The Cougars conclude their home schedule on Sunday afternoon with a WAC game against Grand Canyon beginning at 1 p.m. Prior to the game's kickoff, the team will honor senior player Berina Gradjan (Morton Grove, Ill./Niles North) in a pre-game senior day ceremony.
