Women’s Soccer Concludes Homestand Against SIU Edwardsville

CHICAGO – Chicago State women's soccer concluded its three-match homestand at Kroc Stadium Sunday afternoon by dropping a 7-0 decision to SIU Edwardsville.

The SIUE Cougars scored two goals within the first five minutes of the game to capture an early 2-0 lead that they held going into intermission. The visitors added five more goals between the 55th and 80th minutes to close out the scoring.

Chicago State returns to action on Friday, Sept. 11 with a road contest at Green Bay with a start time of 3 p.m.
