Cougars Finish Season at CSU Bakersfield

Junior Elli Woinowsky produced seven kills in CSU's season finale at CSU Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Chicago State volleyball finished off the 2015 season here this afternoon with a 3-0 (15-25, 12-25, 19-25) loss to Western Athletic Conference foe CSU Bakersfield at the Icardo Center.

The Green and White were led by junior Elli Woinowsky (Berlin, Germany/Merian Oberschule), who finished with a team-best seven kills.

Sophomores Shontanae Addison (Little Elm, Texas/Wakeland) and Corey Davis (Thousand Oaks, Calif./Thousand Oaks) posted 13 digs and 12 assists, respectively, while junior Logan Miller (Palm Harbor, FL/Palm Harbor University High) produced a match-best five block assists.

Kelsee Sawyer recorded a match-leading 17 kills to lead the Roadrunners (12-14, 10-4).

CSU ended the season with a record of 1-27.
