Cougars Fall to UMKC in Regular Season Finale

CHICAGO – Chicago State women's soccer ended its 2015 season today as it fell to visiting Missouri-Kansas City in a Western Athletic Conference contest by a score of 8-0 at Ray and Joan Kroc Stadium.
 
UMKC (13-5-1, 7-2-1) took a 5-0 lead at the halftime mark after scoring goals in the 12th, 20th, 21st, 26th and 30th minutes. The Kangaroos added three goals in the second stanza to provide the final margin.
 
The Cougars received two shots on goal from freshman Sarah Drury (Laingsburg, Mich./Saint Johns), while freshman Audra Wisehart (Sandusky, Ohio/Huron) and sophomore Gabby Klemp (Muskegon, Mich./Reeths-Puffer) each posted five saves in goal.
 
CSU finished the season with a record of 0-19 and 0-10 in WAC play.
