Women’s Soccer Drops Thrilling 1-0 Decision at Home to UTRGV

CHICAGO – The Chicago State women's soccer team continued its three-game season-ending homestand at Ray and Joan Kroc Stadium Sunday after dropping a thriller to the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley via a 1-0 in Western Athletic Conference play.
 
The Vaqueros (4-11-3, 2-7) broke a scoreless tie with a goal in the 25th minute of the first half and held on throughout the second stanza for the win.
 
CSU (0-18, 0-9) was paced by sophomore goalkeeper Taylor Conroy (Avondale, Ariz./Millard West (Neb.)), who recorded a game-high 10 saves on the day.
 
The Green and White return to action on Halloween as they conclude the regular season with a WAC contest against Missouri-Kansas City starting at 1 p.m.
