Wisconsin Green Bay Sneaks Past CSU 54-50

Box Score GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Cougars overcame a 12-point second-half deficit to take the lead with just over seven minutes left in the game, only to be held scoreless for the final 2:49 to fall 54-50 at Green Bay Wednesday afternoon at the Resch Center. With the loss, Chicago State drops to 4-12 on the season.

The Cougars shot 33 percent from the field, 29 percent from three-point range and 80 percent from the free throw line on the game. Green Bay connected on 37 percent from the floor, 21 percent from downtown and just 45 percent from the charity stripe on the game, making just 13-of-29 from the line. Both teams grabbed 41 boards.

Sean Hill (Chicago, IL/Harlan Community Academy High School) paced Chicago State with 12 points, while Trayvon Palmer (Milwaukee, WI/Brown Deer) posted a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The Courgars are back in action as they visit Bowling Green on Saturday January 3rd. Tip off is set for 7 PM.
