CSU's Women's Soccer Will Look To Shift Their Season's Momentum This Weekend

After a testing weekend on their first ever home stand, losing both games to North Dakota and Cleveland State by a combined score of 0-9, the Lady Cougars will look to right the ship and gain some early season momentum as they continue their four game home stand with the final two matches of it this coming Friday (9/5) and Sunday (9/7) at the Kroc Center.

On Friday at 3:30pm CST, the Cougars will host the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, who is 3-1 on the season so far, and rosters back-to-back Horizon League players of the week in Hannah Kernen and Heidi Hartmann, who have taken the honors the first two weeks of the season.

On Sunday at 6:00pm CST, Chicago State will take on the Lady Falcons of Bowling Green, who have started the season with an 0-3 record, scoring only one goal in their first three games of the season.

Chicago State will be in pursuit of the same chemistry they showed in a convincing 4-1 victory in the second game of their young season, when they defeated Arkansas-Pine
Bluff on the road. In a reassuring return to the lineup, Chicago State's goalkeeper, Gabby Klemp (Muskegon, Mich./Reeths-Puffer), will make her season debut in the net after recovering from a summer injury.

Admission is free to both matches at the Kroc Center.
